You have done a great research to put all these various informations together. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thanks for sharing great information ;) Looking forward seeing more of your work.
A well written and researched hub Maita. You've come up with an intersting list of different diets. Well done.

Love that photo and I admit I know a few of the diets. That Atkins Diet - it just amazed me you could eat high fat foods and lose weight - but Dr. Atkins did a great job of educating us about simple carbs.
And that cabbage diet - it was actually quite tasty.
Thanks for a nice to read hub, Maita!
Your loyal follower!
Well this will be a good read for my daughter. She is always looking into diets. I am glad I can eat all I want, when I want, and never gain a pound. As for me, it is in the genes and I was blessed. I love food and food loves me..LOL
Thanks for explaining all these diet plans.
Maita, I was just doing some research on diet plans and I'm glad that your hub covers most of it. So many choices can give one a headache as to which one to choose but since your hub gives details about each one--this will be a good hub to help us get start. Thanks for sharing.
great information Maita, you always put it all together nicely. Have a nice weekend.
Thanks Maita - I'm spoilt for choice. Kind of like the Halleluyah diet.
If this Hub is for the Contest, I wish you good luck with it.
Best Wishes. :)
Great hub Maita. Mine is a diet for life. Thanks for another great hub!
Great information thnxz
Great research Maita...for me its a simple case of addition, what I put in I burn off...eat healthy, burn it off....when I gain I can feel it getting sluggish...my rule....
Step back from the plate...
Blessings
Very nice hub good info thanks
Ate' Maita this is nice sweetie, but I have discovered over many many years that diets will only work if you continue them for the rest of your life. They are not something you should stop once you reach your certain goal in desired weight. It is a never ending battle.
Another lesson I learned a long time ago is that we cannot improve on the perfect person that we already are for we are all created in God's own image and God is perfect.
KUYA Dave, with love and HUGS!
Terrific job researching and writing. I hate diets but you've got some that I've never heard of. I thought I had been on them all!.
Great Job!
Sage
I never realized just how much diets have proliferated over the last coupla years. Great post, Maita!!!
wow this hub is amazingg Maita! I actually tryed the atkins diet before but I got hungrey for pasta pretty quick lol! see you around!
Holy cow! I had no idea that there are so many "popular" diets out there! I'd like to share mine to you: The Living Of-Campus Diet, which I was forced into during my college years, ha ha! I ate two meals a day: Lunch and Dinner and that was all. I had lunch on campus and then a home cooked meal at my off-campus apartment. I tried the Atkins diet and I actually lost 40 pounds or six-inches off my waist line (yeah, I was a fatty for a while). And I did all of it so I could meet and date the girl of my dreams :D Go figure, right? Talk to you soon, Maita!
Dohn
It seems that you've researched pretty well the matter, even if you don't need to follow a particular diet :). Well done again Maita. Thumbs up. :)
Thanks Maita, I just read your color therapy blog and ended up on this next, I loved them both! I am a lifelong dieter and I would like to add my thought: I have probably tried WAY too many of these, and the real bottom line is that you can't really look at it as a diet, but as a change in your lifestyle. Pick something that you could live with for the rest of your life, even if it isn't something you would WANT to do... you could. For the truly overweight, it cannot be a temporary choice, it has to be a form of a forever choice. You may be able to add in more choices, points, whatever, but you have to remain cognizant of fat, fiber, calories, etc. forever. It can be overwhelming, I know!
Based on Ehern's comment, I don't like him anymore!! lol
Ooohhh, I've tried at least half of these on the list. The worst one for me was the cabbage soup diet. I didn't know that you were suppose to get on it for five days and then get off. So after, five days when I had lost only 2 pounds (water weight), I stayed on it for another 3 weeks. After the month I'd gained 5 pounds. LOL!
Needless to say, that was one of many lessons learned about dieting. Thanks for sharing, thumbs up!
This was a truly awesome Hub. Lots of great info! Thanks!
when it all said and done calories in and calories burnt are the "bottom" line (pun-intended)
Thanks so much for your superb content. This is actually the kind of material which keeps me on track throughout the morning. I've also been exploring around for that site under advice from a colleague and was delighted right after I found it after exploring for some time.
I am currently on the Hallelujah Diet. I have only been on it for a little over a week, so the only results I have had is maybe a little weight loss and my bowels are operating much better. I actually went to the Hallelujah Diet seminar in Shelby, NC and wrote a blog on it. It's a lot of great information. Hope you have time to check it out. Thanks. So what diet are you on?
A person can really get overwhelmed with all the diets out there. I had to condition myself to watch my sugar intake. I love sugar! I don’t believe in the sweet and low or any of the other sweetener substitutes. I have noticed that with getting some exercise equipment, and creating my playlist to exercise with. I have managed to lose 5 pounds. It has taken me a month to do this. My thyroid problem doesn’t help matters any. I will not get discouraged. I really don’t have that much more weight to lose. I need at least 15 more pounds to shed, before I can feel better about the way I look. Nice information and great writing!

Maita, it seems like a lot of folks here on HP are writing about diets. I find that interesting. This is a nice hub listing the various diets, but for me, it is too many choices which is why I usually create my own. Thank you.
Love and peace,
Forever His
