Chinese actresses are very good on acting plus they are also good in martial arts, they are considered talented and beautiful. it is amusing how they can act and at the same time good at martial arts. I always like Chinese films and watching them id always good because it gives excitement to the one who is watching.

The following  are to my list the best and famous Chinese actresses : Joan Chen, Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi, Gong Li, Lucy liu to name a few are the finest , best and famous Chinese actresses. Best and Famous Chinese Actresses in Hollywood -- Lucy Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actress but of Chinese descent. She became famous for her acting in Ally McBeal (1998–2002) as Ling Woo appeared in films such as the “Charlie’s Angel” as Alex Munday , Kill Bill as O-Ren Ishii (she won an MTV Music Award for "Best Movie Villain" for the part) and Kung Fu Panda (being the voice of Viper). She is also the voice for Silvermist in Disney Fairies franchise.

Liu had small roles in films and TV like for example The X-Files, Hell Money and Hercules too before she became famous in Ally Mcbeal. Liu cemented her reputation playing bad girls by portraying "Pearl" the sadistic hit woman for the Chinese mafia in the 1999 film “Payback“. Liu also appeared in smaller films because she wanted to spread AIDS awareness in Thailand.

Gong Li was born in China, became successful there, then came to Hollywood. She became famous because of the film “Raise the Red Lantern” and the “Story of Oiu Ju” and was named Best Actress at the 1992 Venice Film festival because of her role. She garnered international fame because of her roles in different movies. In 2005, she made her debut in English film and she starred as Hatsumomo in “Memoirs of a Geisha” and she has rave reviews because of that film. In 1997, she appeared in Chinese Box and Miami Vice (2006) and Hannibal Rising in 2007.

She is a multi awarded actress honored by different award giving bodies, France’s Ordre des Artes at des in particular. In 2000, she was invited by the Berlin Film Festival to be the president of its international jury at the festival's 50th anniversary (2001 February). Two year after she received a New York Film Critics Circle award for role in “Farewell My Concubine”.Gong Li was nominated Goodwill Ambassador of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO). She also fights censorship and her two film Farewell…. And the Story of Oiu Ju was banned in China.

Zhang Ziyi was born in 1979 in China and the daughter of a teacher and an economist. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama (acting school in China).

Zhang Ziyi is a beautiful and talented actress and was famous for his role of Jen in the movie “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” and for her role, she won various awards in wards giving bodies like the Chicago Film Critic Association awards and the Toronto Film Critics Association. She also appeared in the movie "Rush Hour" alongside Jackie Chan.

Born in 1962, Malaysia but of Chinese descent. She is nominated in BAFTA and she is a good dancer too. She is an actress who is popularly know for his stunts in action films and was popular since the early 1990s. She has been in the people Magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful people in the world in 1997. In 1997, she appeared as Wai Lin in the film of James Bond Tomorrow Never Dies” and the multi awarded film “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” for which she was nominated as best actress. Her name is Michelle Khan in earlier films.

Joan Chen was born in Shanghai and became successful in Hollywood. I like her because not only because we have the same birth date but she is beautiful as the rest of them and good actress likewise too. I like her best in the film “The last Emperor” and “Twin Peaks” and in 2007, “The Home Song Stories“. She also appeared in Saving Face, Hou Yongs family saga “Jasmine Women”, Sunflower, “Americanese” and “Tonight at Noon“.

She is a multi awarded-talented actress, having won in various award giving bodies. She started her career in 1979 and from then on, she never stopped acting making her a veteran actress.

She is also a good director, of the film “Autumn in New York”, one of my favorite film.
