Best and famous Chinese actors in Hollywood

There are quite few but well known Chinese actors who are famous in Hollywood. Some of them are : Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Russell Wong. A Japanese actor Ken Watanabe is included here.

This is my list of the best and famous Chinese actors in Hollywood and they became famous because of their skills in martial arts, acting, comedy and drama. Jackie Chan is famous for his stunts and acrobatic moves while Bruce Lee popularizes "Jeet Kune Do" and Jet Li for his exceptional skills in 'wushu".

I like them all, and I will also include Ken Watanabe a Japanese for his performance in "The Last Samurai" (2003), "Letters from Iwo Jima (2006)" and the Memoirs of A Geisha (2005)"

Best and famous Chinese actors in Hollywood 1 -- JACKIE CHAN

In 1954, a martial artist was born and was named Jackie Chan. He is my favorite alongside Jet Li as he is very funny. He came to Hollywood after being successful in Hong Kong and he became a living legend.

Who wouldn’t know Jackie Chan? He made 100 movies so far and he is famous for his style-- acrobatic, comedy remarks and stunts, awesome ones indeed. He is a cultural icon too, in the sense that he was made a reference in cartoons, video games and pop songs. He also produced film and a philanthropic businessman. He said in one of is interview that he is donating half of his wealth to charity when he dies.

He was given the famous “Hollywood Walk of Fame” too.

He is an award winning actor. He is known for the movie, “A Better Tomorrow,” “The Killer,” and “Hard boiled.” He is Li Mu Bai in “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.”He is also a three time best actor in drama category having garnered award in Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Award in Taiwan for Best Actor.

Best and famous Chinese actors in Hollywood 3 -- Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee is of course a legend too like Jackie Chan, but he is dead already. He became famous first in Hong Kong then came to the US and he is the father of Jeet Kune Do. He is a famous performer, actor, martial artist, film director and philosopher too.

He is considered by many as the most influential martial artist of the 20th century, and a cultural icon just like Jackie Chan. He was named by the TIME magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of the 20^th century. His works and his films are well acclaimed in the Western world and through the whole world, plus his martial arts is well acclaimed too.

Best and famous Chinese actors in Hollywood 4 -- Jet Li

He was also successful in China then came to Hollywood. Like Bruce lee he is a multi-awarded “wushu” artist and an international actor. He is famous in his own chosen martial arts like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee.

He became famous after his first film, “Shaolin Temple“(1982), “Once Upon A Time in China” series. He was a villain in Lethal Weapon 4 (1998). His first major role is in “Romeo Must Die” (2000). “In Forbidden Kingdom“, he co-starred with Jackie Chan too, Mark Dacascos, “Cradle 2 The Grave” (2003) and as the titular villain in “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor“ (2008).

He became successful in New York, he is an American Chinese actor.
