81Dallas Zoo and Forth Worth Zoo atTexas
Now, let us go to the beautiful and big state (in terms of population and land area), in the United States -- the state of Texas. Aside from beautiful places like farms, valleys, waterfalls, lakes, Texas is known for its parks and zoos. All in all, there are 14 zoos at Texas and two of them is just ten and fifteen minutes away from where I am located, here at Dallas, Texas -- the Dallas Zoo and The Forth Worth Zoo.
Dallas City is the primary economic center of the 12-county Dallas-Forth Worth-Arlington (Arlington is home to the biggest stadium in the world, the Dallas Cowboys Stadium). The three areas belong to the metropolitan area and has a population of 6.4 million as of July 2009 according to the US Census Bureau, it is also the 4th largest metropolitan area in the US.
These two zoos, the Forth Worth Zoo and the Dallas Zoo are just fifteen twenty minutes away from each other. So come and join me in a travel down the south of US -- to the Dallas Zoo and Fort Worth Zoo.

Hey PDH, great hub. Lots of pictures and I mean lots of pictures. LOL! Thank you for sharing. I love Dallas, and wish I could live there, but not at the present time can I. So I will have to bookmark your hub and come back to it when I want to visit. :)
Love this hub. The zoo looks like they do a good job looking after the animals. Great photos.
Good article, when I lived in the DFW area, I used to take my grand kids to the Ft. Worth and Dallas zoos. This hub brings back memories for me. On attraction I enjoyed visiting in the Houston area was Moody Gardens. Thank you for this article.
I have never been to Texas but love Zoo's. Although I have mixed feelings on them. I love to see the animals, but do not like to see them in cages and /or confined areas. This zoo looks pretty nice. Thanks for sharing,
Sage
another example of perfection Maita.
OK, gal! I now have a real "crow to pick" with you! Do you mean that you are in my own stomping grounds and have never called me or come to see me???????????? sniff, sniff.
Of course you've donen a bang-up job of covering the area zoos - great write ups and pictures. But Texas is my native land! And I've lived in Dallas for the past ... um 36 years!!! Right HERE!! I'm expecting a call from my friend Maita!! And I'm serious!!!
That was such a cool tour ! Totally enjoyed the tour Maita. We gotta pretty cool zoo here In SD too ! Have a great day
Great pictures and good information. Too bad Dallas is a long way off. Thanks for sharing.

This hub a very well done. Great content and awesome pictures. I really enjoyed myself, and that is what writing good hubs is all about.
Looks like nice Zoo's, you should try checking up on the Atlanta Zoo online when you care to. You could spend 3 days there and not see everything :)
Have a great night my friend.....
Great job Maita and well written. Love the pictures and the guided tour...
Hugs
Looks like a fun zoo to visit.
Hi Prettydarkhorse.

Beautiful pictures. I went to a zoo once but they tried to put me in the Chimpanzee Forest!

Some wonderful pics. I live less than two hours away from these zoos and have never been. Isn't that sad.
Great job, Maita. I rated it up.

KUYA Dave.
All of these travel hubs sure make one really antsy. :) Texas is one of the few places I really haven't been. It would be a neat trip, I think. The zoo looks great.
Thanks for the info. Honestly, I feel like I just visited thanks to your fine hub.
this was so amasing it took my breath away. this is one of the best hubs ive ever seen (comment on me)
Truly awesome-I love animals, though I don't like them to see caged in a zoo. I have voted up this hub.thanks Maita :)
Miata, I always enjoy a trip to the zoo. good hub.
Never been to the Zoos up North of me...Will have to see them soon....especially after this great write-up on them!
Great photos you took of the wildlife in both zoos. I especially liked the hippo lounging in the water. Looked like he was cooling off. Nice job, Maita. Thanks!
I have been to the Dallas zoo and I really liked it. Lots to do and see. Great hub, nice videos.

Maita, I cannot believe it. You finally present a place I have actually visited and loved.
I love Texas and enjoyed its many sites including those you listed. I love seeing the guys and some girls stroll around in their cowboy hats. And I love their RIBS.
Thanks for giving me the chance to say, "hey, I've been there (smile).
Love and hugs!
