She is married to Paul Hospenthal, == her former physical therapist and she met him when she was recovering from an injury in yoga.

At age ten, she was into go-karting at the Sugar River Raceway in Brodhead, Wisconsin. She eventually won several World Karting Association championships, then she moved to UK at the age of 16 in order to advanced her racing career and to be trained as well.

I lost interest in the sport after becoming convinced it was being ruined by the family which "owns" NASCAR; especially so, when it began a fight with its competitor.
But talent is TALENT, and I think Danica Patrick's entry does so much for the sport -- not just for being a Role Model, encouraging other females to follow her.
Were I in her shoes, I'd concentrate on modelling, but still hone skills for the track -- because the interval of being in demand for beauty is much shorter than the span of years she'll be in demand to race.

I think she´s really good for motorsport, this sport needs more female participation. It´s a shame however that she has to do all of these photo-shoots, I don´t think a male driver would have had to do the same.
