I wore my mardi gras beads for good luck and kept holding them, especially when they had the ball! great fun and what a win for the city. who dat?? we da saints, the super bowl champs!
Yes..rebekah that game was outstanding...I loved every second of it. my hubbie and I sported hats and beads during the game. loved the half time music did you?

Great hub for all Saints fans Maita. It seemed that most of the fans of the game were pulling for the Saints.
woo hoo! I was so excited about this. Who Dat?
What can i say, I am a Dolphin Fan but was going for the Saints and no disappointment here. Great game.
Nice poem and how very appropriate for fans of the Saints. Well done!
I'm happy for the people of New Orleans, and for the franchise.. that was a gutsy call, that onside kick.....
Great poem great hub!!
Lovely poem!
Hi Maita Sweetie, I am not a fan of football, but sweetie if it brings happiness into you life for you then I'm all for it. Hoooooooray Whoooooooooooo??? Beats me!
Love,
KUYA Dave HUGS HUGS!
Great article...I couldn't have said it any better myself!!! WE FINALLY DID IT!!!
Who Dat! I'm fresh from the Saints Super Bowl parade (which I viewed from my perch in a tree above the crowd) and I can tell you first hand how much this means to the spirit of community in New Orleans and beyond. A worthy subject, Maita! :)
Great call on the Super Bowl Maita, you said New Orleans would win. This was a nice tribute.
Who dat!
I really wanted Favre to win :3
I'm no longer a fan of sports but did play them in high-school. I followed for years. I didn't watch the game but the highlights were great. The game was won on talent- but also guts. The Saints played their hearts out and made gutsy decisions. It was great game.
I am elated that the Saints pulled it off - the best Super Bowl ever!
who dat . . . it was a good one. . and i must admit i am going through football withdrawal on this first NO sunday game. . . happy valentines day to you pretty!
I have to agree with wavegirl...Now what happens after football is over? Instead of "Who Dat?" we got "Now What?"...but they sure did "Do That!" and won the Super bowl...and will probably be celebrating from now until the next Super Bowl...down there in New Orleans...and I know the rest of La. is going crazy over the win...that was a great Super bowl...and a well-deserved because it was well-played; "win" for the Saints. Now...I know a certain Texan team that better get serious...or their fan base is going to help increase the Saints fan base...in the seasons to come!

I think everybody who knows anything about the US or American football wanted the Saints to win - except maybe a few people from Cincinnati.
Nice poem and very timely.
